John Hughes Group is looking for committed Apprentice Technicians to join our team in East Victoria Park, Western Australia. This is a full-time position that will provide you with hands-on training and the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting experienced technicians with vehicle maintenance, servicing and repairs
- Gaining practical experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Learning how to use specialised tools and equipment to complete a range of automotive tasks
- Participating in theoretical and practical training to develop your automotive expertise
- Ensuring a safe and organized work environment by following established procedures and policies
What we're looking for
- Must have a "Manual" driver's licence.
- A passion for the automotive industry and a keen interest in learning new skills
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Commitment to completing an apprenticeship programme and obtaining a nationally recognised qualification
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn
- Must have valid work eligibility in Australia, including all valid work visas
